From August 27th to 29th, the Don
MacTavish group campsite at Fort Camping on
Brae Island has been reserved for AWANA grades 3 to 12 kids, including Trek and
Journey..

here. The basic cost for 2-nights
camping, including food, is $100 per participant. (AWANA staff
and leaders pay 50% for their participation). |

The large group camping site has 3 Tent Cabins that each sleeps 10 people,
a group cooking shelter/picnic area and a group campfire pit. Additional
tents can also be used in group area on crushed limestone pads to keep
the ground dry. The plan is for 30 kids and 10 staff/leaders. |

This form must be completed then returned to the AWANA Commander (May
Poon) or Pastor Vickie Wong by June 19th. This includes the $100
camp fee and any optional activity costs selected beforehand. Please
make cheques payable to VANCOUVER CHINESE LUTHERAN CHURCH. Please use
one waiver form per participant. |

By car, Fort Camping is about 40 km. or 45 minutes from the Vancouver
Chinese Lutheran Church in Burnaby. Please arrange your own
transportation to and from camp. Arrival is Friday 4 PM to 6 PM. Dinner
is 7 PM. Leave camp on Sunday 11 AM (camp regulation), by 1 PM
latest. |
